Greetings, this is Albert Schindler from the Classic Upland Supply Co.-Fellow member of the PGCA.

We will sponsor/assist with the food costs for the shoot and hope that folks are able to attend.

We won't be able to attend the shoot, we will be packing the trailer to work our booth at the East Cost Fine Arms Show at the Hyatt in Greenwich, CT. on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of Jan.

But we are glad we are part of a great organization and hope to see
some of you all in the new year.

Regards,

Albert Schindler

Albert, I too, would like to extend a big "Thank You" for your generosity and will be sure to stop at your booth in Greenwich. Sorry we'll miss you at the New Year's Day Shoot at Major Waldron's but we'll be toasting you none the less.

Dean,

Sounds great, wish I could be there and join in. As for the show, do you know if the Parker group will be there with a table?

Unfortunately Albert, there will be no PGCA table or designated meeting place that I know of. I got confirmation yesterday from Art Wheaton that we will not have a formal PGCA presence at this show this year. Several PGCA members however, will be in attendance and we hope to see them all but it will be hit or miss without a meeting place. . . maybe next year.

We'll find you though, and will give you a full report of the shoot.

Best, Dean

Hey Albert & all..!!!

First of all - Albert THANK YOU!!!  I got your check for PGCA as a Sponsor for this event - and as well - got your banner up on the PCGA website:

http://www.parkergun.org/pages/links.html - which links to your site:

http://www.classicusc.com/

It wasn't as easy as it should have been (seems our current "server"/host had some weird ideas about the total space limits, so I had to hack a way around it??)...  Anyway - simply - thank you!!!  And Briahna's collar looks great!!!  Also - have the brochures from you to pass out, OK???

Also - Dean - I was chatting with Charlie about a stupid idea I had for PGCA as it unfolds?  I'm guessing if PGCA can, we (yea - the proverbial "we") can come up with an idea to have local events supported by PGCA in the future" - maybe??  I'll share my idea with you on Thursday, OK??

Also - I think this is one of the very first times - for any "event" - there has been a "Sponsor"?  Albert - sorry for using you as a "concept test" - but, based on your replies in this thread, your support of PGCA and your's and Laura's commitment to customers - I know I made a good choice... ;)

Best to you!!

With this number of shooters we could expand the shooting for score part of this fun shoot to 100 targets.  We can decide as a group how we want to proceed on the morning of the shoot.  Maybe we could shoot a round of skeet doubles, a round of modern skeet, a round of handicap trap with your yardage being your modern skeet score, and a round of wobble trap with full use of the gun allowed.

If we have 10 shooters and each shooter puts $5 per round in the purse we would have a $200 purse that could be split to the top three scores 50/30/20% or $100/$60/$40

This would be in addition to the club cost per round at MWSA is $3.50 for members and $4.50 for non members.

Ties can be decided by a miss and out shoot off from the station five 27 yard line on the trap field or a truly winner take all duel from 20 paces

What did you say????

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

And - NO - you can NOT keep score..?  And neither can I - as I have no idea WHAT I'd be scoring???

Seriously - I also asked Jen to come as well as Hal and Scott C. (KTP) - but - I'm not sure yet???  And nope - Jen probably won't shoot, as she'd beat both Dean & me...

;)

Directions in above link.

I would think a 10AM kickoff would work.  Austin will have to play catch up.

We have got a little snow coming in tomorrow and tomorrow night maybe six inches. Not sure the fields will be plowed that quick.  It is supposed to be windy and cold on Thursday too. Everyone bring warm clothes, boots a snow shovel and some Parkers.

If the weatherman is wrong and we get more snow than predicted check this site for confirmation or cancellation post by 6AM.

I'll even drive it to South Dakota!
