John - don't ever fall for one of Dean's quipped quotes again.. He's a brash young fellow - and obviously drives a rusted out Swedish car (or something?)..

John if you drive that to SoDAk next Nov, you can ride around in the Sub. once you get here. I figure it will take about 10 hours.

Ummm - thanks Bruce - I think????!! You mean it may take 10 hours to get that Sub. running so we can drive around South Dakota? Maybe we can use my car, instead???

Best to you!

Dean's unfired hammergun remains the first place prize, John's car goes to second (Sorry John it's used). Be sure to get them appraised so you can use them as charitable donation on next years taxes.

Not a problem..!! In fact - below is a picture of what she looks like today - as I started pulling the engine and tranny last week to upgrade the transmission gearing... The "winner" will have to bring a few wrenches to my garage, I guess - and those are NOT included with the "prize"

The hoods of Porsches have been successfully used for that.

Piss cat ah kwah, I think; it is on the sign on the bridge from Portsmouth to Kittery.
I know a little Mohawk, but not much Mic mac or Pequod.
Great to go to Portsmouth; Pam and I always take a vacation in the south in the winter, and the beaches around Portsmouth are never crowded.
Best, Austin

Most people put the accent on the 'cat' while I prefer Piss cat aqua
I think there may be some some French or Latin influence in there along with the Native American, i.e., pisce for fish and aqua for water.
It is a great area and has loads of early American history. I'm sure you know that Burton Spiller worked in the Portsmouth Navy Shipyard. Imagine that, along with hand making violins and raising and breeding prize-winning gladioli.
Sorry to hijack the thread . . . yes, I'll be there.
