We actually have a PGCA Advertiser & Sponsor for the food for this event (to be announced when he posts ;)  - and his Sponsorship will go to the PGCA General fund)!!!  As well - let's see what I can do to get a Sponsor for a "Grand Prize - or prizes for particular events at this shoot??  What events are we thinking (trap - skeet, a 50 round shoot off, Peoples Choice for Best Parker,  etc..??)..  Give me some ideas, OK???

As well - to the newest Advertiser/Sponsor - THANK YOU!!!

John D.

There are lots of things we can do to make it interesting. In addition to what I suggested previously given these guns are two shooters we could shoot doubles at everything skeet and trap.  Really want to make it tough and test of Parker chokes, trap doubles from handicap yardage say 22 yard line.

Or, your skeet score is the yard line you have stand on for the round of trap? Scott and Bob, we won't be able to stand any closer than 16 yards :D

I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures. Dunkle embarassed many of us at the PGCA Annual Meeting with some very candid pictures of our shooting escapades the last time we shot there. (actually, we embarassed ourselves - John just caught us doing it :? )

Maybe we should "pat him down" for a hidden camera, open it up and pull coils of film out of it like in the old movies. . . I know, I know, he has one of them 'spensive digital thangs... :D

Do you guys have 9 - 15 yard markers at Major Waldron's trap field ?

I ask this because I generally break more than 9 clays at skeet ;)

Actually, I can explain that one... but nobody would believe me... so I won't try. ;)

Dean, the answer for THAT bird is to cut the bbls off on that hammer gun to just in front of your left fingers and then swing and hose the quadrant of the sky that contains the bird....  Great picture John. I can hardly wait to hear about how this particular shoot goes. Sounds like big fun as I look out at the falling snow and wait for the plow rig to preheat in the 4deg temps and darkness at 10:30am thousands of miles from the "fun fields".....
