Dean, I went to a new club, to shoot sporting clays yesterday. As it was they're first time for the season. I took the little 16 gauge hammer gun, and shot a 36 and a 39. However, I was called some pretty nasty names for shooting smokeless powder shells in the old gun. No matter what I said, I couldn't convinence these "Gentlemen" that what I was doing was okay.

You should start carrying photocopies of the Sherman Bell articles to pass out to these types of folks. *wink*

Dave, are the primers you use softer (more easily dented/detonated) than the ones Polywad uses?

I honestly don't know. My roll crimped spreader loads use Cheddite primers. I have two hammer guns that punch holes in the primers on firing. The 16 just dents them, but I've never had one fail to fire. I guess all you can do is try them and see. I have your shells packed and ready for you.
