I second that Destry- add Dick Baum to the list, he helped me convince Hick to come this year.

When Party Boy Hickerson is in the room anything can happen and frequently does. I never was so glad to hear anything when he announced that he was coming again. Many thanks to you boys for roping him in again. Now if Collins comes wandering down the weekend will be complete.

P.S. I'm off to meet Kaas for drinks in Plymouth.

Bill, Kathy and I are at the Hampton too. Presuming Linda will be with you? We look forward to seeing you there. Dean

Anyone is welcome to join us for dinner, drinks and rabel rousing;). We had a good crowd last year and expect to have another one this year as well.

If I wear my vintage attire my jeans will have holes in them and my T-Shirt's collar will be frayed. I have to wear a tie for work and sometimes I'll even wear a sport coat although I despise them almost as much as ties so I'll be damned if I wear one to dinner:shock:

Jackets and ties are for weddings and funerals neither of which I will be attending while in North Carolina. I guess I'll be sitting with the rabble rouser's.;).

Have no fear, I will be wearing my necktie during the formal shooting. I've selected two from my collection to bring along on the trip. My favorite red one with mallard ducks that I wore at Beaver Dam, and my much prized Philadelphia Gun Club tie which was a gift from Mr. Kaas the Secretary of the organization.

Ed;

Neither of those dudes you mention are invited to our non wearing of cravats and coats dinner party, so bare necks and torsos prevails! This is a good ol' boy type of gathering don't you know.

I guess there were a few more people that thought the way I do. This is suppose to be fun evening and I don't have much fun wearing a coat and tie :cool: So all are welcome in the corner of non tie and coat wearers. Eric

Dean your shooting lessons will be formal BUT the attire isn't. You won't shoot any better with a jacket and tie, youl'd probably due worse because you would be bound up at the shoulders and the tie would cut off what little blood does flow to your brain:D.

The libations have been selected and stored for safe keeping. I was looking for my favored tumblers also but alas they reside in the abysis of unpacked boxes.:(.

To be or not to be: that is the question; Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of Rich and Larry or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them? To die: to sleep? To sleep; perchance to dream; Ay, there's the rub. . . For who would bear the whips and scorns of these two guys? The oppressor's are wrong, but make us rather bear those ills we have than to fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does not make cowards of us all. And with this regard those guys' currents turn awry and lose the name of action. Soft you now fellas - in thy orisons be all my sins remembered !!

And I thought youse guys was my friends :P

I thought Dean could barely read, let alone sort of quote Shakespeare, I'm almost impressed. Somebody prolly read it to him as he typed with one finger.

Jees Dean, all I can say is BLAH,BLAH,BLAH & BLAH. Are trying to say your scared of what will become you in a weeks time or that you'll indeed discover your inner self and that alone could send you to the nursing home:D.

Larry & I are indeed your friends and we will help you through your troubles. Of course there will be the required medicine which I have already had the perscription filled;).

Roger - Bib overalls and ties go nicely. I have a picture of my greatgrandfather in that outfit on his way to church, with a jacket too, of course. These are the Virginia Vintagers, or is it the Vintage Virginians? I disremember.
