The  VHE .410 mentioned by Angel Cruz is a nice gun and in surprisingly new condition. It has an interesting barrel blue finish.  At $45,000 or so, I'm sure its waiting for the right customer.

While I know there is a prohibition against selling guns here, I do have a high condition Daisy BB gun available in the box and with papers, the special Red Ryder edition, and it is the smallest of the smallbores,  much smaller and therefore more desireable  than a .410. Like a 410, under the right conditions, it will kill a bird. Only $10,000, postage free to your FFL.  DRR Special, BB/24", PG smooth butt, LA, NRA good/high.

No. I've learned to increase my prices every year until the gun is sold. Its $10,000 now and will be $12,000 next year, or even later today.

That is a lie spread by collectors who want to knock down the price. Its the best I've ever seen and I have had many inquiries about the gun and there is a fellow who said he would be here tomorrow to look at it. It won't last long. I can provide provenance and a letter for this US made gun. A person doesn't see original guns like this every day.

That's the deal folks, I don't want to talk about it any morin.

I suspect that the ultra rare Red Ryder new in the box gun is more myth than fact.  I'll wait to see if Bruce posts any pictures before I get worked up about this gun.  I'm thinking that we'll see proof of the Red Ryder at about the same time that we see the Run With The Foxes AAs.......

Flanigan, NUTs to you as my good friend Gen McAullfie who served under Patton in WWII and that was after Pearl Harbor and Tullamore Dew and where the hell was I?

Anyway, look at this and suffer. Anymore cracks and the price goes up today.

A Ducks Unlimited medallion. This proves it was used by my good friend Nash Buckingham and is in fact the original long lost Bo Whoopee. I remember when he and I were drinking Tullamore Dew together and something happened but I forgot what.

So eat your words Flanigan and all you doubters. The price just went up.

Oh my gosh Bruce.  My face is red.  It really does exist.  Is there a wood duck engraved on the other side of the frame?  Actually, forget it.  I don't want to know.  I have to admit Bruce, you have some guns that I lust over.

Why do you need the frame dimensions, Dean?  Are you afraid that Herschel used a $12,000 real Parker .410 to fake up a $25,000 Repro?  When I bought my VHE .410 Skeet, I couldn't have touched a 28-.410 Repro for the same money.  Same goes today apparently.  A great 28-.410 DHE Repro sold last week on Gunsamerica.  I missed it, drove by the store that sold it yesterday and I was too depressed to stop and see if he had another.  Did you see the Gunsamerica .410 Repro?  It says "Sale Pending".

My good friend Pachmayr added a wood duck to the other side, but its an original upgrade.

Dear Mr. Day,

Unfortunately - you have left us with no alternative, as you have indeedy - posted a "gun for sale" in direct opposotion to Forum Rules....

Therefore:

1)  You have the right to be silenced by banishment.  Should you give up this right, you are free to continue to post;

2)  You must immediately surrender said "gun" to the PGCA Member living nearest you.  Should you not be able to find a PGCA Member in close proximity - one will be provided to you by the PGCA Bored of Directors;

2) Your post - can, and will be used against you at the Annual PGCA Meeting;

2) Your forfeited "Daisy Red Rider - Ducks Unlimited" will be retained by Mr. Tom Carter for the sole purpose of selling raffle tickets to PGCA Members in a forthcoming, yet undisclosed, event;

2)  You may purchase said raffle ticket to re-acquire your dandy "Red Rider" back.  Should you not be able to afford the nominal fee of $40 for a PGCA Membership - you are out of luck.  Sorry...

These are the rules, as granted herewith, by power of attorney, bequeathed as much as possible, inherited by our lofty position, exhausted by the fact we are mere mortals, under which and upon which - I rest my case...

Any questions?

;)

Well I can do a couple things. First, I could engage Francis Morin as my mouthpiece and let him argue here for reversal.

Second, how about if anybody buys the Daisy Red Rider Ducks Unlimited Special Edition for the buy it now price of $12,000, I'll donate the money to the PGCA.   Its a small smallbore and should do quite well. Don can take Bo Whoopee down to Tunis MS next trip.

I believe, in heated times and issues such as these - cooler heads should prevail.

;)

OK - you win....

BTW - if you can find a buyer for your "Daisy Repro Red Rider, National Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited, Caribou Caring - Limited Edition - Number "One of one"" for $12,000 - I want to shake their hand first.  Next - I want to shake them down for a bridge I have for sale....

Nothing against your fine Daisy (it's a dandy - fer' sure!) - but - well..???

:)

Succinct - and yet - to the point....

Bruce's RR DU Edition is in the same condition as mine, field used.  The varnish on mine did not stand up to daily use, nor did Bruce's.  I also let my receiver tarnish a bit as did he.  The two guns would make some matched pair.  I have no idea how many they made in that configuration.  Mine came down through the family when Linda's Dad passed away, as I remember.

So far - there are only two recorded (your's and Bruce's)?  As a "matched pair" - being "two of two" in .177 caliber - I'm quite certain they would command a hefty price - certainly at auction?

BUT - do they letter?  If so - add 292.684% (<--exactly!) to the asking price.  Or reserve?

As it is a family hair-loom - YOUR small bore may command even more?  From Bruce's family?  Not so much.....

I hope this helps in some small way - but - I'm pretty certain it doesn't...

Mine wasn't much of a meat getter.  When I participated in the purchase of an estate of guns, I scored an RWS Diana that shoots .177 pellets at about 1200 fps as I remember.  It is mounted with a Redfield 4X and will shoot into a ragged hole from the kitchen deck to the garden.  The Daisy was only used as a scare away type of weapon.  The Diana kills on contact.
