That Andy Devine is not the one I remember. Add a few pounds, please. Dean, you are right about Shaughnessy's credentials. He started as a junior, as Stack did, but continued on to many more wins in his skeet career than Stack did. Dick never won a World Championship with a Parker or Remington, but Stack did win a World Championship with a Remington. Dick won his World Championship with a 16 gauge Model 21, the only time in history that an All Bore World Championship has been won with a 16 gauge. I have Dick's 1937 Massachusetts State Championship trophy for the 2 1/2" .410 as well as a few other of his trophies. This .410 win was quite the feat since he was still a junior at the time. By the way, two of our members are wearing Bob Stack's shooting jackets occasionally, at least until our weight prevents it. Last edited on Fri Apr 11th, 2008 10:24 pm by Bill Murphy

How 'bout this one Bill? I think this showed up here or on the doublegunshop.com site a month or so ago. Attached Image (viewed 303 times):

Dean you must certainly be an old timer. But you forgot to mention Midnight the Cat and Squeeky the Mouse. I actually had a rubber Froggie sold commercially and wish I still had it. I do still have my Nichol's Stallion .45 with both the white and black grips depending on your mood! Round caps are hard to find these days.

Dean, I think it was a magic TWANGER, not a plunker...
And, yes you are.

Guys, my memory's getting squirrely here. Andy Devine was Roy's and Dale's sidekick, right? Whose was Clarence "Frog" Henry? Gene Autry? Pancho was the Cisco Kid's. Sergeant Preston had only King and Rex the horse. Any more I'm forgetting? Did Hopalong Cassidy have one?
Best, (ith nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon)

Pat Brady (drive of "Nellybelle"0 and Gabby Hayes were Roy Rogers "sidekicks". Hayes was also William Boyd's (Hopalong C.) movie sidekick in the Republic Studio's pictures.
