Hello Brian. The pin that runs through the frame seems to work properly. it moves smothly and is under spring tenshion. The gun is a real bear to reassemble. I did not see any kind of a set screw. Is the spring your talking about in a little cylinder that is recessed into the trigger plate. I probably will not dissamble again. the first time gave me a headach.
