Did the same thing at one gun show on two guns, a PH and a VH 12. PH very nice, VH solid. Good prices but a little overpriced, made offers, but absolutely firm they said. One owner, one consignment. Actually took measurements on the PH and told the owner too much info for my own good. Called both later that night, and both were sold for considerable less than the firm price. So the lessons for me are, find the owner and flash the C notes and a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
