Thanks for the tip, Jim. I called and picked it up this morning. There doesn't seem to be too much to do on it. Apparently the dents are small with gentle slopes that I should be able to remove without a problem. The seller thought it would be fine to shoot with them there. He also said the bores were unpitted and he was confident they weren't honed. The barrel weight is 3(11). I think the stock must be cut unless it had a pad from the factory. LOP over the relatively thin pad is 14" but there is no inletted peak on the heel like I would expect on a GH that should have come with a DHBP. I may take a shot at removing and repairing the through bolt in the stock, or if I loose my nerve have it done by someone. I had checked the book while I was on the phone with him and it seemed a reasonable price. I don't have much for straight grip Parkers and the 1 1/2 frame is a favorite of mine for 12 gauge. I copied the photo and would welcome any comments, good or bad. Thanks again.
