Let’s see, sold a 16ga VH, a 20ga VHE, a 12ga GH, an Cogswell and Harrison 12 ga,a BSS 12ga and an RFM 20ga.
Picked a few…a 34 inch DHE 12ga, a DHE 20ga a GH 16ga, zero frame, a GH 12ga 1 frame, a 12 ga G grade Hammer gun. Non Parker, a Westley Richard’s 16 ga, a John Dickson 20ga boxlock, a .410 Thomas Horsley hammer gun, and if everything goes right I’ll be picking up a K20 later this month. It looks way worse when you spell it all out like this. |

My Parker collecting has been a mess for the past two years. I will not bore you with the details but 2024 was a major surgery and 2025 was losing my dad. During this period I have sold off some Parkers I never thought I would sell. I guess sickness and death changes a person. But my interest seems to be picking up. I did buy two Remingtion era, high original condition DHEs, a 20 and a 16. So maybe as my dad used to say, "the worm has turned".

The best thing that got me through some really tough health problems was finding out that the old shotgun in the basement closet was a Parker and joining this group.
I’ve met the nicest people I could ever imagine and collected these 26”, 28” 30”, and 32” works of art that I can go out and smash clays with. Heck, some of them even come with hammers attached.

Isn't it funny how when we're down we buy more stuff. Like "This might be the last time I get to acquire this or that..." I now have about six "Last grouse guns I'll ever need" that will have to fit into the casket with me. I'd be cremated but couldn't do that to the guns : )
