Gun trading in 2025,how about you??

I've been a busy beaver and gone down a few new rabbit holes in 2025 eg 16ga. Bought a Remington Model 11 C Trap straight grip 12ga, Ruger 10/22 from the widow of a dearly departed friend, a super nice Fox XE 16/30 from a long time buddy and seasoned Fox collector, a very nice Parker GH 16ga/30 damascus, Fox Sterlingworth 16ga 30 near mint, a very nice condition Parker GHE 20ga 26" damascus, and a Parker DH 20ga 28" sweeat gun with great wood a trap comp and some nice condition.
Sold a Parker 1 1/2 frame 12ga in perfect condition to a buddy that loves condition, a Parker C 10ga hammer, Remington Model 11 F early gun that brought big bucks at G&D, LC Smith Specialty engaraved as an A-1 12ga, and a beautiful LC Smith 12ga A-2 live bird gun.
I sent 4 more to Josh for the Feb. 26 sale. A Lefever DE 12ga 30", a Remington M11 No.4 Tournament, a UMC Remington M11 F and a LC Smith grade 3 10ga 30". I did buy a GHE 20ga two barrel set 20/32 and 20/30 that I sold back to a good friend, decide the gun wasn't in my wheel house. How about u???

Ya gotta love trading best acquisitions , are as follows 1944 Winchester model 42 skeet, 1924 Parker VH 20 Gauge, 1955 Winchester model 12 20 gauge, and I re acquired a gun that I wish I had kept a 1987 Beretta A303 ( A duck killing machine). Key departures are 2 20 gauge Parker Reproductions, 1969 AYA #2 20 gauge and a 1922 Parker PH 12 gauge.

I’m a small time collector and have only bought one gun this year. It is a 1921 GHE 12ga. with 28 inch barrels.

I sold a field used 20 gauge, pistol grip, single trigger repro that had been good to me in the field to a fellow PGCA member (I hope I don’t regret it) and bought a beautiful straight grip, double trigger repro 20 from a PGCA member. Sold a pristine 2 barrel 28 gauge repro set to a good friend and member. Bought a Winchester model 21 skeet 12 gauge that I’ve yet to shoot and the highlight of my collecting year to date was joining the “Men’s Club” when a wonderful and generous PGCA member allowed me the honor of becoming the custodian of a big, beautiful 8 gauge lifter.

I had a feeling that was your 11F at the G&D auction ! I’m still in liquidation mode but I did see a Mannlicher Schoenauer Premier grade carbine in 280 REM that was profousely factory engraved and stock carved that I really liked .

I have nowhere near the resources you do Craig, but I did manage to add a few goodies to the gun case last year. I started with a as new Parker Repro, 28 ga, 26 inch Q1/Q2, with double triggers, pistol grip and beavertail. Probably will be my go to grouse/woodcock gun for the rest of my days. Then this summer I was able to acquire a very nice Parker D3 top lever 12ga that I was able to use this fall to take some pheasants. The only other gun I picked up this year is a very sharp Cooper Model 36 22. She's a beauty and shoots great. Now its time to rebuild the fun & gun account and continues my search for a nice Fox XE and Parker B. Half the fun is in the search.

Dan it seems to me that you may have omitted at least one long legged girl

I haven’t sold anything this year (much to the chagrin of my Immediate Supervisor), but I did jump into the 8 gauge world with a nice WH Monk with 36” barrels that are currently being refinished. I also bought a Parker grade I hammergun as a project. Also a Beretta S3 that is a great gun. I think the old S3s are under appreciated by shooters because they are overshadowed by the modern Berettas and they have short barrels (28”). Great workmanship and true sidelocks.

The M 11F was a nice gun but I have decided to focus on Fox and Parker. I have one LC Smith and one Lefever. I used the proceeds to add the 16ga and 20ga Foxes and Parkers. The Feb. G&D sale consignments will complete my plan.

I'm almost embarrassed to mention my additions to the safe this past year or so because they aren't Parkers or vintage.

Due to my personal home life of being a full-time caregiver about all I can do for fun stuff is occasionally sneak away for a round of clays. So, to scratch my gun itch I've added two Rizzini O/U target style guns with adjustable combs & 32" barrels, it's been fun fitting these at the patterning board and then improving my scores with them over the summer.

Not only am I embarrassed to mention them here, but I won't even let them reside in the same safe with my Parkers & Model-21's:shock::rotf:
