I was shooting with Harry Sparks. He was sporting a Westly Richards 28 gauge as I recall. I asked to see it and when thrown to the shoulder I was looking straight down the barrels. I told Harry it was a perfect fit. He said, "No. It doesn't fit your pocket book." Gerald, If it fits the wallet, buy it. Few guns make me swoon as this one does.

Gerald, your pictures are hurting me. Now it will be a lot easier for me to part with my junk that I thought was kind of nice. What a great gun.

Default The rest of the story

As Paul Harvey would say, here's the rest of the story.
Why would someone do that to a gun it this condition? Only thing I can think of was to make a cold weather duck gun. LOP is just under 13 inches. I am short and it feels short to me just in shirt sleeves mounted and pointing it level but when I raise the muzzle skyward it stays with my eye perfectly.
