Thinking more of the cord trip type of power loss and Marks solution or a Fairbanks Battery.

A whole house generator would be nice. Actually, I am looking into it. I burned over 20 gallons of gas in two days with the Honda and it is toooo loud. Honda makes good products but they sure missed the boat on this one.

I suspect the vette would generate lots of power for lights but I can think of better ways to enjoy it.
