It makes sense, but is odd. When was the gun made? If a later date when 2 3/4” was more common, that might account for it. Is it a lighter weight gun?

I would say yes, but then it could be a typo. For what it's worth Craig, I've been shooting 2 3/4", 3/4oz. low pressure loads out of all my 20 ga. guns for years with no problems.
