Those were the photos I had on hand. I’m out of town for a funeral but I can take some more photos early this next week. How do I get a rating? Would a local gun shop be able to do that or is that a specialty thing? I appreciate the responses!

Unless you know the local gun shop owner personally I wouldn’t trust their opinion on value. I usually find that ball is in the dirt, followed by the line “ do you want to sell it to me?”

I’d compare it to things that have actually sold, not just are listed, on gunbroker or similar. Of course, once you know enough info on what you have to compare to.

It appears from the limited photos to be a nice condition straight grip DHE. It’s not a trivial value if the rest of the gun holds true.

The photos show the hammers have been dropped and the ejectors fired. Did you get it back together? If not you will have to gently recock the ejector hammers in the forend before it can be reassembled. Use a wooden dowell or a new pencil to gently push them back to cocked, one at a time with the forend held by a soft rag or on a spongy surface as to not damage the wood.
