Its been my underatanding that the Blue geese are just a different color phase of the snow goose. The same theory as a black and grey squirrel. Same critter just a different color phase.

Those pics bring back memories of my waterfowling days in Manitoba. Then the limit was 5.

Speaking of squirrels...... NUTS, the $1M still up for grabs. Never too old to learn something new (to me). It appears the white phase is a recessive gene and the blue phase a dominant gene for the same species.

Are you studying for the spelling bee?

No studying for me...I gave it up for Lent. Whenever I asked Mom how to spell something she told me to look it up in the dictionary. I didn't want to know what the word meant just how to spell it. Never really learned that very well.
