That does not appear to be a Galazan skeleton bp (made for them by McFarlane, I think). Galazan's is much too big, thick and heavy for a 00 frame Parker. I looks like an 0 frame Parker part as Parker often used a taller butt than was normal for the frame size when fitting long barrels. I just ran into this with two different 30" 20g 0 frames (a VHE and a DHE) both of which have 1 frame butts. It is a pity the extension was put on (it probably was cut for a pad at one time). The Parker buttplate could have been (and still could be) cut and shut and made to fit the remaining portion of the original butt. A more worthy and elegant solution for an elegant and expensive gun.
