It appears to be a 2-frame DHE with the number 1 set of barrels being Titanic Steel, T in circle on the right barrel flat. Apparently, the long-ago owner saved a few bucks by getting the number 2 set of barrels in Vulcan steel, V in circle on the right barrel flat. Both sets of barrels appear to be of the same time frame with the JG in an oval and the ampersand-like markings on the left barrel flats. Both sets of barrels have Remington 1947 and 1948 repair codes. My best guess on serial number is 154533.

Stock is badly cracked (badly separated right of tang). Also, has a Bradley bead on one set of barrels.

Default Cabela's DHE

They do not take advice well. The internet gal, Mary West, tells me the gun library manager is a "real" shotgun guy and knows his stuff. I don't even bother with them any longer. SN 154333

Default Cabela's

You know you really have to take Cabela's as a whole work. It's irritating when they mess up and over price a gun and don't point out the deficiencies. BUT, then there's the other 70% of the time that they grossly under price a gun to our advantage. If they really knew their business we probably couldn't buy from them.

Agree, I wouldn't point out any mistakes. If they happen to learn to educate they're gun folks we may just miss out on opportunities like the $4100 double trigger 28" repro that someone beat me too.......
