Guns International listing
#101898606 Would someone else tell them what they have , I have sent them a email and told them they have it listed wrong and they sent me back that the water table is stamped V well Im trying to figure what it is cant see the serial number also do you think the stock is split they dont . Maybe im messed up

It appears to be a 2-frame DHE with the number 1 set of barrels being Titanic Steel, T in circle on the right barrel flat. Apparently, the long-ago owner saved a few bucks by getting the number 2 set of barrels in Vulcan steel, V in circle on the right barrel flat. Both sets of barrels appear to be of the same time frame with the JG in an oval and the ampersand-like markings on the left barrel flats. Both sets of barrels have Remington 1947 and 1948 repair codes. My best guess on serial number is 154533.

Stock is badly cracked (badly separated right of tang). Also, has a Bradley bead on one set of barrels.

Well I got them to change it to a DHE but the wood they must think its fine

What a piece…

I sent them an email asking if the wood was cracked due to the gap, and about the grade. The woman who replied said the following, copied and pasted:
We are aware of this and have changed the ad. There are no cracks or splits in this stock. The stock is proud on the right side and separated on the left. So there you go, no problems with her at all. |
well this was either sold, taken down, or relisted with another number. I can't seem to find it...

They do not take advice well. The internet gal, Mary West, tells me the gun library manager is a "real" shotgun guy and knows his stuff. I don't even bother with them any longer. SN 154333
