My BH(E) 20ga 28" damascus, ser# 84040 was also shown at the 1898 Boston show!
It had previously been to the 1896 and 1897 New York Exposition shows at Madison Square Gardens.
The gun was sold in late 1898 to the original owner who returned it to the factory several times over the years for refreshing, and finally for ejectors and new 26" fluid steel barrels in 1937.

Fender skirts? Just kidding, I have a BH 10 with less than original barrels that was a World's Fair gun and I love it.

Show guns would be a interesting display theme for an annual meeting in the future. It would be kinda cool to see guns that have been separated for a century plus to be back in the same room again.

Yes it would Craig. Good idea for the Peoples Choice Award. My only concern would be the numbers we could attract. Duly noted and logged in for future consideration.
