Why not use clover or brassica seed instead? That way you can establish a food plot too. Just sayin'.

Well now I thought a plot of red beans would do about the same thing Plus they’re at the grocery store and I don’t have to go by the Co-Op

That's awesome Mike! Not bad for a rural PA guy ; ) I now use Pinto beans on a 20g load and it works pretty good!!! But that's really because lately I'm experimenting more with Latin foods. Were I to yearn for some Asian influence I might use some red beans. But for those who prefer to shoot guns with olive oil running through their blood, I am going to dry some Cannellini shelling beans this winter. Being a bit larger, I might have to unload them on those 8 and 10g dudes however.
