I have seen acrylic stock repairs that matched the color and grain that were virtually undetectable. The "artist" however had no intention of deceiving anyone as to what was done. As to the GI listing, I've seen much worse for more. The stock has extremely nice wood depth on the right side. I see silver barrels. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The gun IMHO will sell and the new owner will be happy to begin their project.
