I didn't count them 1 by 1, but about 250 of these S grade SBT's were made during the middle of the WWI years of 1917 -18. That is almost 1 per working day; it certainly would have overloaded Parker's engraving and checking staff.
I wonder where the rest of these S's are hiding?
