Danny,
Remove the forend and barrel from the action and look at the serial # on the flat water table of the action. Above and/or below the serial # you should see a number or letter. If you see a 4 or C then the grade is "C". If you see a 5 or B then the grade is "B". If you see a 6 or A then the grade is "A". Most single barrel trap guns are "C" grade and have a pigeon on the floor plate just in front of the trigger guard. Your gun should have a straight grip stock and 32" barrel. Post some pictures if possible and you will get more info.

Patrick

Your gun is most likely a C Grade with a 4 on the water table. In that serial number range, it will not have a pigeon on the floorplate. Tell us what mark you find on the water table of the action near the serial number. Your gun is quite an early example of the single trap, probably made in 1917.

I think Bill is right on target... Straight gripped C grade SBT.. I also just went to your album, and you listed the ser#, but I think most were 32", so if someone has the serialization book - maybe it's listed??

Hope this helps..!

John

I find it odd that the SBT's grade are not shown in the Serialization and Identification book when you look them up by serial number but simply shown as ST where other Parkers would be identified as TI3 or B4 or D2 or A5 as an example. Anyone know why?
