My Franz Kettner double was 10.75x76, and I loaded it with 50gr. of 3031 and that was as hot as I would go. If you laid the case on it's side, you could look at the primer even with the leveled powder. I used as cut wad of file card stock, then corn meal. Never knew about dacron, but I'm guessing you're referring to the puffy stuff my dog digs out of his toys.
