"EUROPEAN SPORTING CARTRIDGES" by W. B. Dixon, 1997 lists three 10.75x60R
cartridges:
10.75x60R Grundig
10.75x60R Leue
10.75x60R Mannlicher
The book gives specs on the cases but no load data.
If I were loading these with Nitro For Black I would be very careful to fill the case space with Dacron to avoid chamber ringing.

My Franz Kettner double was 10.75x76, and I loaded it with 50gr. of 3031 and that was as hot as I would go. If you laid the case on it's side, you could look at the primer even with the leveled powder. I used as cut wad of file card stock, then corn meal. Never knew about dacron, but I'm guessing you're referring to the puffy stuff my dog digs out of his toys.

Exactly!!
I load 450 BPE and use about 14gr to fill the case.

If you are concerned about extra space and you should be I would look into blackhorn 209.I use it in 38-55 , 45-70 , 45-90 & 50 express. All filled to base of seated bullet with a nitro card on top of powder. Go to there web site for reloading data.and info about blackhorn 209.

Some one resurrected a really old post. This cartridge is actually a proprietary cartridge. worked up loads a long time ago and the gun shoots great. It is a full nitro gun not a cordite rifle. It was made in the early 30s. The bore diameter is actually 43cal. Brass is a pain to make. Had to modify the sizing die I got from CH4d.

Dacron has been used for some time as a filler. I first read about it in an article by Ross Seyfried. If not done properly as I remember it can ring the bore. As I understand it a visual dark spot will be left in the bore.

Hmm, I started getting into guns not so long ago. I'm still using an old rifle that I got from my father. He is already dead and I will not throw away or sell this rifle, even though it is not in the best condition. But hunting with it is also difficult. I'm a beginner and one of my friends advises me to buy a McMillan Game Hunter, but for some reason I have a bad feeling about it. I don't want to take a rifle from this company. I also like something like yours. I'm thinking of consulting with the sellers in the gun store about one like yours. And I also have browning x bolt Pro in mind and I read about it on https://g4gguns.com/product/browning-xbolt / and I was very impressed with this weapon, but again, I'm not sure what would suit me better. Can one of you give advice to a beginner? How to choose your first rifle?

It is a nice rifle and regulated using a chronograph to the listed velocity. shot right to the sights. Sorry John but I never give out the the kind of information.
