I can not say I've ever seen that engraving from any of the known men who worked at, or for Parker. Yes, a real head scratcher for certain. Bill, you know him well enough. Call and get us the story, I would be very disapointed if it turned out to be finished by someone else, though that wouldn't take away from it's appeal.

Am I the only one who thinks the engraving on the trigger bow looks almost like a monogram?

That engraving may be Parker but it is going to be a tough sell without something (letter) to back it up. Even if it is Parker it does not speak to me at all. I would much rather have traditional D engraving over that style, just my opinion. Concerning the lack of drop points, has anyone ever seen a hammerless D grade or above that did not have drop points ?

Last year at the Southern I sold a 32inch straight grip DHE flat rib live bird gun that lettered and had no drop points.
