IMO it has everything to do with the value of the guns. The expectations of many sellers is they can stick any sort of ridiculous price on a Parker (or any other fine gun ) and expect someone to snap it up because of its uniqueness, provenance, or other determinate of value. The bubble has burst and buyers' are waiting for recognition of this fact from sellers. I believe it is happening too.
