Tom, in 1887 there were two engraving contractors, or "chief engravers."
William Avery, from 1877 - 1887 and "Harry" Gough, from 1887 - 1898.
Nobody can say for certain who did the engraving on your Grade-3. It is said that the engraving contractor engraved the game scenes while an accomplished 'understudy' engraved the scroll or filli gris... we'll never know for sure who did the work.
