Dean I pulled out my Remington era VHE Skeet configured Parker 12 gauge. It's in about 98% condition, hence not a lot of wear. I took a close up picture which I attached. It appears that it might be, Pt. I am guessing Parker trigger, but that's just a swag.

Weren't these triggers made by Miller? So if these in fact were not made at the Parker factory, could they be meaningful from a Miller Company perspective?

Dean,
These are the best I could take indoors tonight. You can find this mark, I think it's the same, in PP vol. 2, p580, image 14.11. By the way, still looking for the 30" barrels and forend that were ordered for this gun.

Thanks Daryl! That crossed P's stamp looks a lot like the Peerless barrel steel stamp on the barrel flats - which some may say look like crossed P's and some may say look like crossed flags.
No Jeremy, Miller did not make triggers for Parker Bros. Further, Miller triggers were stamped with the name MILLER on the side of the trigger, not with a Pt. and the last three digits of the gun's serial number. .

Just checked my G 12 ga. Skeet and V 16 ga. Skeet, both have the Pt stamp.
