Very, very nice Rick.

I know the answer but I'm going to ask anyway.

Will she be a shooter? Same answer as: is the Pope Catholic?

do I have any that aren't

yes - it's a very solid gun, and although fairly nice for its age, not pristine - it's a shooter

Just got an email from Graham Greener, I need to get him one more detail photo so that he can complete the research However, he did share this. Which I thought was interesting

"Several thousand of guns of this type were made and so they are fairly common, however, your gun has one feature I have not seen before in the design of the push down lever which is partially wrapped around the trigger guard. In this respect it is rare, if not unique since I have never seen one exactly the same as this before"

I am sure he refers to not seeing a Greener like this

He referred to the lever on the side of the action, like we usually see as the norm

My guess of between 1869 and 1875 for a date of manufacture was dead on, he said that according to the serial number, the gun dates to 1873

It will be interesting to see if the final letter has anymore detail
