This is a Birmingham gun of mid quality. Action probably sourced from W.& C. Scott. The barrel flaw is hard to judge from your photo. Best to send the barrels to Kirk Merrington for a professional evaluation.

If you plan to stock this gun yourself, I wish you luck. And a lot of time. Especially if you are a novice. Is the original stock beyond help? That's the best course if at all possible.
