Serial # 95xx. I think it was bought in 1935 according to the family it came from. It has a solid rib and a Jostam multi-layer pad. Gun is in very nice shape for its age.
Was this or a straight double trigger the only triggers available in 1935? When did the single trigger come into existence? Was a Jostam pad used by browning in 1935 or did they have their own pad back then? |

Browning didn't have a pad that I know of back then. The first generation single trigger was available very early in production. You'll have to read Schwing to find out how early. Your Browning letter of provenance will probably mention the pad if it is factory original.
