Even though the markings on the pads themselves say "Patent No."
105,358 is actually a Design No. granted July 20, 1937. Application was filed April 19, 1937.
These versions marked TruSport were sold by Edw. K. Tryon in Philadelphia --
There were several boxes of these TruSport/Edw. K. Tryon pads in one of the display cases in the Galazan gun rooms when I visited there after the 2012 Vintage Cup.
