I can assure you I wouldn't pay a nickel more for a gun that had Colonel Dubray's name attached to it.

As an aside, I'm actually surprised there aren't more orders for two Parkers 100% identical to one another. If you happen to be the father of two boys, you'll know exactly why that would be important.

A former owner be it DuBray, Oakley or anyone else for that matter makes no difference to me. I would not pay extra because the gun was once owned by someone famous.

To some of us, provenance is a big deal. As far as value goes, maybe not so much. My feeling has always been that all my guns without provenance are for sale.

Yes, but consider the provenance value acquired when someone buys a gun previously owned by Bill Murphy.

I'd never even heard of this Dubray character before today. Bill Murphy?...I knew of him before joining the PGCA.
