Two guns alike

We all know what gun attributed to say Annie Oakley sell for but let's you have two guns that are the same and one gun is traced back to Capt Dubray what would that do to the value differences. Thanks Thomas

O.K. Let me try this. I have a 12 ga. Pigeon gun with 32 inch barrels and it has never been owned by anyone of importance but you have the same gun described but yours can be traced back to Capt Dubray what would the estimate higher value be of your gun. Thanks Thomas

i bet there will be a whole lot of differance in the price of those guns..i would guess as much as triple in value... charlie

I was thinking it would have to be substantial also. Thanks Charlie. Thomas

I would rather have Grandpa's old Trogan than Czar's A-1.

That would be one helluva story

But who knows? Maybe the Czar had a few unknown baby mommas.

Arthur DuBray's name is on many Parker orders. It is very hard to trace a gun to his ownership, although there are a few that have been shown to be his guns. What is the situation here? By the way, we aren't so sure about the Annie Oakley prices, either. The last "Annie Oakley" Parker that sold for an obscene amount wasn't even an Annie Oakley gun. It was Frank Butler's gun and we're not really sure about that.

I can assure you I wouldn't pay a nickel more for a gun that had Colonel Dubray's name attached to it.

As an aside, I'm actually surprised there aren't more orders for two Parkers 100% identical to one another. If you happen to be the father of two boys, you'll know exactly why that would be important.
