The Spring Issue of Parker Pages has been mailed, from Traverse City, MI. Several of you volunteered to be points of reference on delivery. Village Press has asked me to solicit dates of arrival around the country, so that their mailing department can investigate areas of slow delivery.

As you recieve your copy, would you either post your ZIP and the date recieved; or send the ZIP and date to me at:

austin.w.hogan@valley.net

The membership roster, a copy of the by laws, and a renewal form accompany PP in the wrapper, it will be a little thicker than usual.

Thanks, Austin

Please convey my appreciation to the Board for their efforts. An up to date membership roster and published by-laws have  been on the members' wants list and I know the Board has been working on it.

Austin,

My copy arrived today 3/23.  This time I am not going to race through it. I plan to sit down in my lazyboy, with a fire blazing, and and a dash of Kentucky on the chairside table and thoroughly enjoy it. Looks great. zip 23508

It occured to me that it is truly remarkable that all those gentlemen would send in their money to a group such as ours just because they own an old gun. Of course it's not just an old gun but really a work of art

I'll be looking for mine when I head home tonight. I'll be thinking about the great times we had in SoDak , the great friends and anticipating this Nov to do it again. I have already heard from some of you, and the trigger finger is itching.

Haven't seen my copy yet but I got to look over the sample that Roger brought back from Baltimore this morning. Best issue so far guys, the new look is terrific.

One thing Austin, it's Hoffard with two F's. *wink*

Sorry, Destry. I questioned the spelling and went back to another source, where I found the single f - we'll correct it next issue.

Best, Austin

It's not a problem Austin, I got a laugh out of it. My name is so odd everybody spells it wrong all the time. It's even misspelled in Ed's "When Ducks Were Plenty" book.

I recieved my own copy of PP at 03779 this morning (Saturday 26 March). This is just about what is considered routine for periodical mailings - seven working days from the middle of the country to the "coasts". Please continue to notify me of the day of arrival of your copy, and we can perhaps locate the choke points in distribution.

Thanks, Austin

Jay you could have stopped off the fishing camp that belongs to the daughter and son-in-law of EDM while you were down there. They just bought it and are there right now getting set to start chartering.

Just had email from EDM himself and he's thinking he might make the Southern.

Regards,
Destry

P.S. No sign of PP yet here in Southwestern Michigan.
