Default Trojan 16

I was bottom feeding at the Poulin auction today (online) and scored this Trojan 16ga 28" gun! It's a bit used but honest and supposedly all original. I'd been looking for a shooter Trojan small bore for a while and finally got one at my price!
Here's the auction pic. I'll post more when it's in my hands.

Looks like a very honest gun.

Thanks Allen. I actually got this at the suggested opening bid and half of the low estimate. I was bidding at the low end of about fifteen auctions just in case no one else bid but this was the only one that I won.
The Parker's were selling a bit soft in my opinion. A restored VHE 20 went for $2100!
I was watching WWI and later military rifles also and they were selling very strong.
Rifle and handgun ammunition was going for big money!

If anyone watched lot# 1043, it was listed as a GH w/sleeved barrels and relaid rib. Not so, as the book said it was a D3 no extras, capped pg, 12 ga. 30". Looking closely, they were actually real titanic bbls. and a proper D style restock. I'll bet, if you looked at the barrel flats, there would be repair codes.. For $1,400.00+ premium etc. a real nice buy.IMHO Jim
Also, the Smiths went cheap for the most part. Just saying.....

David, restored or not, that was a good price on the VH 20 for someone.

I didn't care for the case colors on the VHE 20 but if I had known it would go for that little, I might have jumped in.
