Default What's it Worth? (photos included)

Parker Trojan - 16 gauge - 28" barrels.

This was my Papaw's gun. My Dad gave it to me after he died in '86. He bought it new as a boy. I believe after checking the serial # on this great site it was made in 1924 and he bought it that year or in '25. He used it for quail and rabbit hunting and everything works on it and it is still very tight and shoots very well. To my knowledge it has never been worked on. Here are a few photos of it. I would like to know its value.

16 gauge - 28" barrels - Serial # 209770

Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge.

Tom

As it is your fathers gun that he bought as a boy and hunted with it his whole life I would say it is priceless. As for monetary value I am sure some one with more knowledge than me will give you a good estimate.

Okay, now that we've established that a family heirloom is priceless let's help this person with a market value. He is probably just curious.

How much is a fair to good condition Trojan 16 gauge worth?

Nice honest gun, Tom. I'd rather a closet full of guns like that than 1 Turnbull restored gun.
