Default Value of 20 gauge VHE skeet gun

I have a friend that called tonight to ask me the value of his VHE 20 26" skeet in skeet out BT SST straight grip to checkered butt skeet gun. I told him that condition is everything. I have not seen the gun and don't know if it has been restored. I can't find any VHE 20 skeet guns on the internet. I would appreciate any opinions as to value if in original condition with 50% case,98% blue and wood. What would the approximate value be if in 100% DelGrego restored condition? I am not offering the gun for sale but only trying to ascertain value.

Thanks,

Asa Kelley

I would think Eric Eis to be the best person to evaluate such a gun.

Asa,

Just paid 4500 plus 18% buyers premium at a recent auction.

I bought one in very high condition about two years ago for less than 10K. If it's been redone then your probably looking at half of that.

A 20ga skeet gun is hard to find.
