Default All this crap...

And sarcasim ,back biting and posturing is not the reason I joined the PGCA....I don't have "MEAN'S" by any stretch I'm actually just starting out on my own venture and with bill's and two kid's I find this a great place (my favorite) to come visit while I drink my morning cup of coffee before I start my day.

The reason 's I come here are as follow's...

The vast knowledge in all thing's Parker, and the willingness of other's to share and help even though I'm far removed and not a key player.

I love the flea market find's by Destry ,Angel et al,these are thing's I could never hope of seeing up here ...I've been fortunate to have dealing's with.
both these fella's, top notch all the way for what it's worth.

The beautiful photo's and story's posted by the like's of Bruce and other's ,I scour the forum each morning looking for them for the info freely given therein and the eye appeal ... And well ,I know I'm not the only one.

The few ,thing's I have posted alway's seem to warrent a comment by the fine folk's here ...My daughter and myself read every comment from the post about " Dad's girl " with honor. All those kind comment's meant a lot to someone like me ,I'm the exception to the rule where I come from when come's to the appreciation of the way thing's once were in regard's
old sxs's and what it took to use them.

So that's what I have to say about it,I think we have one of if not the best forum's running ...Sure, there are time's when I want to make a somewhat harsh comment,I 'm human after all. But after a spell I find myself thinking of a way to re-phrase it to something not so caustic and 99 from 100 I choose not to type out of respect for what this place is to me....

A wonderful place to dream about thing's I can't have, see place's I would otherwise never get to see,and meet like minded folk's who will no doubt become life long friend's I'll probably never meet .

(I would like this opportunity to shout out a big thank-you to a certain" Mr. Jim" who has done more for me in respect to all thing's Parker and shooting than any one person could ever
deserve ,and I barely even know what he look's like. His only request is that I someday pay it forward. thank-you Mr .Jim)

All this while I have my morning coffee.

Thanks Chris for expressing your (and other's I'm sure) opinion about why you come here and what bothers you. Our members and visitors deserve better and I hope everybody reads this thread and works just a little harder to help make it more comfortable for everyone to come here and spend some time.

Thanks, Chris. I didn't think that the "Restoration Advice Wanted" thread was the least bit funny, in fact, it was meanspirited, considering that so many readers apparently took it seriously. I'm always up for humor, but not that kind.
