Default 4 gauge shells.....

Does anybody on here have a 4 gauge they're needing hulls for? I was digging through some stuff last night and realized I have two of the Alan Myers injection molded plastic cases that I have no use for. If you have a gun and you'd pay the shipping on them you can have them. It's just two shells but cases are so hard to get here in the US that it's certainly better than nothing if nothing is what you have. I'd say they could be loaded several times if you were careful. Don't know what primer they take but I'm sure it's something common as they were only made a few years ago. I only want to give these to somebody who has a gun.

Destry, What is the diameter of the 4g hull? I have a new and primed paper hull here that is Very big. It has a few markings in the brass, but nothing that makes any sense to me. I was meaning to post about it on here, but it is not top on my priority list.

I don't have a mic to measure them with. I know they're 4 gauge, that's all I can tell you.

There are some military hulls I've seen that are paper and very large. Could be what you've got. The ones I've seen had either no markings on the base or just some numbers. I think they're fuse or flare rounds.

PGCA member Daryl Middlebrook has a couple of "to die for" four bores if you want to send them to him. I have a good friend who is a German flare gun collector if you want to send them to me.

If Daryl contacts me he's welcome to them.

I think I'll wait on somebody with a real 4 bore that might want to shoot them. Nobody is shooting vintage flare guns. When I said flare rounds I meant the ones Brian mentions, mine are shotgun shells without question.

Destry,
Thank you for the offer. But I have a bunch of Alan's 4ga. plastic hulls in my inventory. So please pass them on to another collector.
