I don't have a mic to measure them with. I know they're 4 gauge, that's all I can tell you.
There are some military hulls I've seen that are paper and very large. Could be what you've got. The ones I've seen had either no markings on the base or just some numbers. I think they're fuse or flare rounds. DLH

PGCA member Daryl Middlebrook has a couple of "to die for" four bores if you want to send them to him. I have a good friend who is a German flare gun collector if you want to send them to me.

If Daryl contacts me he's welcome to them.
I think I'll wait on somebody with a real 4 bore that might want to shoot them. Nobody is shooting vintage flare guns. When I said flare rounds I meant the ones Brian mentions, mine are shotgun shells without question. DLH

someday i ll get one of them 4 bores but just got to set and wish rite now...surely somebody out theres got a 4 bore...ive read about alan myers making these 4 bore plastic hulls... charlie
