Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Parker Barrels
Guys, as an LC Smith loyalist, I haven't posted here in years and hope I'm not on everyone's shift list; but I spoke with an individual last evening who has some interesting Parker barrels that he will be selling. So as a matter of public service and goodwill, I thought I'd past this info along to you guys here under the category of FYI.
This individual has 4 sets of Parker barrels with forearms (two have frames missing various parts); and all are extractor sets. They are as follows:
30" Grade G Damascus 10-bore top lever hammer in 33xxx sn range.
32" DH Titanic Steel 12-bore #2 frame in 102XXX sn range
26" GH Damascus Steel 20-bore #0 frame in 113xxx sn range
32" VH Vulcan Steel 20-bore #1 frame in 177XXX sn range.
All these serial numbers are in the Parker Serialization book; and barrel lengths and barrel steel types match records. I suspect a 32" #1 frame 20-bore Parker barrel is kinda rare? I have no idea as to current condition of these barrel/forearm sets. I don't know this guy, never met him (other than thru this phone call), have no personal or financial interest in these barrels; and don't even own a danged Parker at the moment.
For anyone interested, his name is Mark Owens, he lives in/near Stillwater, MN, and his telephone numbers are: Cell 651.328.3333. Daytime 651.628.5705
Best
Tom

Tom thanks for the heads up. While I'm not looking for an extra set of barrels I'm sure there are those among us that are and they will also appreciate you thinking of us.
