Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Help with Ithaca Flues
I bought an ithaca flues 20 gauge damascus barrels and I knew when I bought it that the barrels did not fit the action correctly, so I am attempting to fix it. I have removed the hinge pin and disassembled, cleaned and oiled all the parts. However when I try to fit the barrels to the action they are not within tolerance. When you clamp down the barrel flats to the action there is a discernable space between the barrel and the action and when you clamp the barrel and action together the barrel flats do not meet the action. I do not know what can be done to fix the problem. Is it possible to weld material onto the barrel flats? Or should I just put it back together and declare it a wall hanger? Any information or insight would be helpfull as there is no gunsmiths were I live that do this kind of work.

It sounds like the barrels were made for another gun. If so, to remedy the problem could be pretty expensive, if even possible.
