I have a PH 12 gauge 1/2 frame made in 1911. The gun was beaten up a little, partially restored, but handles and shoots very well. I read in Parker Story that 1/2 frames were not made in 12 gauge until the late 20's or so. Does anyone else out there have an early 1/2 frame in 12 gauge? How rare are they? Part of me would like to have a rare piece, but another part would not mind having another as I like the one I have so much.
