My take on the ad is that the case colors and barrel finish are original, only the wood has been refinished.

Too much purple in the cae colors.
The barrels should be black and white, NOT brown!
Very nice wood.

A very poor attempt at restoring a Parker!

Nice looking but not what left the factory. CC aren't 'right', borders of checkering aren't right, barrels don't look right. !30 pictures and $8K, what rock have I been sleeping under?

hit may not be pur fect, but ah still likes hit!

it never ceases to amaze me how there seem to be a few consistantly nasty people out there...

do any you expert critics care to post pitchers of a better re do job, so us mere mortals may be enlightened and thereby achieve your level of magnificence?
