Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

It's not a Parker but...
I got this Heddon Black Beauty fishing rod I need some help as to it's value. I know a bunch of you love fishing as much as your Parkers so I figured this would be the perfect forum to ask. Besides, it'll give you something else to talk about. It's a #17-9ft - 2F. thanks for you help..

Angel, I have the same rod in the Thorobred 17# model, same dimensions, except silver fittings. Nice rod, inherited from my grandfather who used it for Wisconsin and Michigan steelhead fishing. I think the Black Beauty is a rare model, and quite attractive. Heddons were well made mass production rods. Could be a great rod for those Florida bass ponds. Should come out to about a 7 wt line rod.
These Heddons don't bring much money, probably under $500 is my guess. Mine I'm told should be around $325, yours maybe a bit more. Your best cane site is www.clarksclassicflyrodforum.com.
