today i was planting some wheat f in a food plot a a covey of quail got up..there were about 12 of the birds...this is the first covey i ve come across in about 5 years....it truly was a sheer joy for me to see these birds...hopefully maybe its the beginning of a new era for the quail and me... now i may have to get me a bird dog....already got a good parker 20 ga.... charlie
