Default L.C. Smith 2bbl set

What's a fair price for a 12ga Field grade 2bbl set serialed to the shotgun? 30" M&F...28" Cyl & M.

Whatever you would pay for the gun as a shooter. It is not a collector gun.

We deal mainly with Parkers here. Try the LS Smith site.

From the header on the LCSCA site
DO NOT POST if you are seeking the VALUE of a L.C. Smith. Instead, visit the FAQ and read "How can I determine the value of my L.C. Smith?"

What’s the asking price if you are the buyer, or what are you seeking for it if you are the seller?

I just looked at the LC Smith page linked above and I have to say, I LIKE the idea of prohibiting any asking of values for any guns. Good for them. Selling with an asking price, sure. But the incessant "what is my gun worth" only detracts from this forum and leads to someone peeing in someone's Cheerios. That's just me.

Andrew: speaking only for myself and not the BOD, the problems were:
1. Disguising an attempt to sell by seeking value.
2. Your point. Too many conflicts over honest (and accurate) opinions and when defects/negatives were identified.
3. A recent and relevant thread on Shotgun World re: how to grade vintage shotguns
